Subject : How to build trust with your site visitors

Hi {!firstname_fix},

Building trust is hard.

Without it, a business will simply suffer as without
trust people will look elsewhere to get what they
want or need.

Fortunately there is a couple of simple steps that you
can take today to make your website appear more
trustworthy than it already is.

1. Clean and Professional

First impressions often make a lasting one. So it
is imperative that your website gives a good and
trustworthy impression the second a visitor lands
on your page.

You can tell when some online businesses do not
see their customers as top priority in their web
design. These businesses have no concern over
their customer's well-being and needs. Therefore,
it's no surprise they do not put in any effort at all
in designing their sites.

Their sites usually appear poorly designed,
unprofessional looking, it's just a total disregard
of their customers. You can tell they do not have
their viewers interest in mind when "designing"
these sites.

Sometimes, some legit businesses also does the same
mistake. What does this say about them? That they
couldn't care much about their clients. So why
should you care what they have to offer as well?
If this is the amount of effort (if you could call it that)
they put in designing their site, I don't want to know
how they handle their customer support.

2. Ad-Free Zone

When you have an online business and you have
website up that's selling products, please do not
ever place ads together with your products.
Anything that remotely looks like an ad is a
definite NO. Don't get me wrong. Ads do work
great for what they are, but there is always a time
and place for it. And on your business website is
NOT IT.

3. Provide A SEAL

This is an option that I strongly suggest you
consider should you have the sufficient funds to
support it. A seal for your website is one of the
best ways to convey that you are a trustworthy
online business website.

Big companies on the web have these seals of
plastered all over their pages so when someone
sees a similar seal on your website, it'll be easier
to earn their trust that way.

Yes, it might be costly but it might get you more
customers and thus more sales in the end because
more people will trust buying from you. As I said
earlier, this is just an option but it's one I can
highly recommend.
